Thunder Bay’s Mayor and one time police officer Keith Hobbs is clarifying his comments about meetings with the leadership of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation.
Soon after we aired his comments that he has not met with any Nishnawbe Aski Nation Grand Chief since Stan Beardy, NAN officials sent our newsroom a picture of current Chief Alvin Fiddler in the mayor’s office with Keith Hobbs, that they say was taken October of 2015.
We contacted the mayor and he told us that he has met with Alvin Fiddler in his office, but there was no conversation pertaining to this story.
