Thunder Bay North Stars Captain Going To Waterloo

The captain of the Thunder Bay North Stars will be playing University hockey this season.

Kenny Turner has committed to attend the University of Waterloo.

The 21-year-old spent three seasons with the North Stars and played in 149-games, amassing 87-points.

Turner was named the most improved player in the SIJHL this past year.

Thunder Bay Coach Jeremy Adduono says Turner has tremendous speed and very good hockey sense and has the right attitude and plays the game with passion.

He adds with the odds always against him, Turner has excelled at every level so far.

Waterloo Warriors coach Brian Bourque says Turner is hardworking and committed and is a quick learner.
