Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty is looking forward to returning to his job in Ottawa.
The NDP member says the one dark moment on election night was the Conservative’s winning a majority Government.
Rafferty says he will continue to keep an open dialogue with all MP’s, but does expect a few fights with the Conservatives.
He says his party is more then ready to be “Harper Fighters” if need be.
Bruce Hyer of the NDP easily reclaimed his seat in Thunder Bay-Superior North.
Hyer says his first priority is to figure out how to work with all of the parties to make Parliament work.
He says he has been disheartened with the recent negativity in Ottawa.
Voter turn-out in Thunder Bay-Superior North and Thunder Bay-Rainy River were 60.3% and 59.8% respectively.
