Thunder Bay Plant Not Impacted By Bombardier Move

A move by Bombardier to sell a major stake in its rail transportation division to a Quebec pension fund won’t impact operations in northwestern Ontario.

The company has inked a deal with Caisse to hand over $1.5-billion of its rail business, instead of holding an initial public offering.

Officials say the move won’t affect operations or workers at the Thunder Bay plant.
