Thunder Bay-Rainy River MPP Continues HST Fight

NDP MP’s continue to attack the Harper Government’s plan to allow Ontario and B-C to move towards a harmonized sales tax.
Thunder Bay-Rainy River’s John Rafferty says if approved, the HST will lead to huge increases in gasoline prices, especially in Northern Ontario.
Rafferty is also critical of the Liberals for siding with the Conservatives.
Rafferty called the HST a new gas tax for Northerners.
