Thunder Bay- Rainy River NDP to Pick Candidate

Two strong contenders are vying for the NDP nomination for the federal Thunder Bay-Rainy River riding this weekend.

Former Thunder Bay City Councillor Betty Kennedy and long-time NDP member John Raferty are seeking the nod from party faithful. A travelling ballot box will visit Fort Frances and Atikokan on Saturday, then move to Thunder Bay on Sunday. The winner of the nomination will take on incumbent Liberal Ken Boschoff and Conservative hopeful Ricahrd Neumann.

The Atikokan event is scheduled for 5:30 this Saturday at the Native Friendship Centre.
