Provincial Police in Red Lake have released the name of the victim of a single vehicle crash in Madsen.
Officers responded to the collision around 3:30 last Friday morning.
OPP say a vehicle left the road on Mine Street and came to rest on a frozen body of water.
Police say 22-year-old Vanessa Rivers of Thunder Bay was found dead at the scene.
An investigation has revealed that the vehicle was taken without the owner’s consent.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
