Thunder Bay to Host Cancer Conference

Thunder Bay will host the Canadian Cancer Society Annual Conference
next month and the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation has signed on as the major sponsor.
Deputy Grand Chief Alvin Fiddler says its an important partnership
given the increasing number of cancer patients in the area.
The event will focus on those who have been touched by cancer and to
inform and empower patients, survivors, family, friends and health care
professionals.
