The 47-year-old woman involved in a province-wide Amber Alert on Monday is now facing criminal charges.
Provincial Police say Lynda McCallum of Thunder Bay has been charged with abduction in contravention of a court order, break and enter and assault.
An alert was issued for 8-year-old Gabriel McCallum but the boy was located in a Thunder Bay coffee shop about an hour later.
Lynda McCallum was arrested Tuesday.
No other information is being released as a result of a publication ban.
