3 Dryden area women are alive this morning after surviving a huge
scare early Sunday morning.
A cabin they were staying in at Thunder Lake was destroyed in a blaze
that saw 22 City Firefighters respond to North Shore Road around 6AM.
Fighting the flames was comounded by -28 degree weather & the fact
there was no road access to the cabin itself with only a trail leading to
it.
Officials say this is the 4th serious woodstove & chimney fire in the
area this winter.
