Thunder Lake Road The Worst; Doesn’t Make Cut

Thunder Lake Road in Dryden has been voted the worst road in this area.
That’s according to the final results released by the Canadian Automobile Association in the Ontario Worst Roads campaign.
Spokesperson Korey Kennedy says the Dryden road didn’t make the top 10, but notes it’s great to see that so many people took part in the campaign.
Kennedy says the solid response from this area shows that people are concerned about the state of the roads and it shows that both levels of government need a stronger infrastructure plan.
Kennedy adds the campaign is important as 90% of the roads selected have either been fixed or are about to be improved.
Northwestern Ontario was shut out in the Toronto dominated rankings.
Dufferin Street in Toronto was selected Ontario’s worst road for a second straight year.
The only northern Ontario road making the cut was Kraft Creek Road in Timmins at number 4.
