It’s time to face the cold hard truth that winter is here and you should be getting your vehicle prepared for the snowy season ahead.
Gary Howard of the Canadian Automobile Association says now is a good time to get your winter tires put on your vehicle.
Howard says while all-season tires have great tread, winter tires are more efficient in terms of removing snow from the actual tire.
He adds they have much better traction.
Howard adds it’s important not to mix and match your tires.
Howard is also reminding drivers to check your tire pressure on a regular basis.
