The Provincial Government is asking area anglers to start removing
their ice shacks.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says ice hut owners are responsible
for maintaining their huts and removing them prior to the spring thaw.
Owners who abandon their shacks or store them on crown land, islands,
shore lands or access points may be fined and could be liable for removal
costs.
Time to Start Thinking of Removing Ice Huts
