A Timmins man has been fined $3,500 for carelessly discharging a firearm down a road during a hunting expedition in the Nestor Falls area.
Conservation officers set up a white-tailed deer decoy operation on Tri Lake Road last October.
Ricky Leclair fell for the trap and fired two shots at the decoy.
Leclair has been banned from hunting for three years.
