Tips To Beat Flu

The flu season is in full swing in northwestern Ontario.
Nutritionist Leslie Fancey says eating less sugar is a good start to beating the flu.
Fancey says that adding garlic to your foods can be effective against viruses and bacteria.
She notes foods that are rich in zinc are also great for boosting your immune system, including foods like pumpkin seeds, mushrooms and seafood.
