A 40-year old Chapple Township man was charged with Wheel Separation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle after an incident on Monday.
He was driving a Kenworth Tractor-trailer east on Highway 11 near Highway 611, when two of his tires came off.
They crossed into the other lane where they struck a Freight-liner tractor-trailer heading west, causing damage to the steering.
The Freight-liner crossed the road and into the south ditch, coming to rest on a hydro pole.
Neither driver sustained injuries.
