Yes it is!
Today is the day that I get my first COVID vaccine shot. Protecting myself. Protecting others.
It’s taken over a year to get to this point so I’m quite happy to get to this moment. I know it doesn’t solve all of our immediate problems but it’s a ‘shot’ in the right direction. Isn’t it?
Our lives and our minds have been turned upside down and inside out over the last year and a bit. For some it’s been more than others. Some have even lost family members and friends.
My appointment is early this afternoon. I’ll let you know next week about how it went and if I went through any side effects from the shot. I’m hoping that if I do that the two main side effects are me being able to shoot spidey webs out of my wrists and the ability to climb walls!! That would be cool.
