Your visit Wednesday to Tim Hortons can help send a youngster to camp this summer.
The CKDR Morning Show was at the Tim Hortons store in Dryden this morning to help launch ‘Camp Day’.
Proceeds from coffee sales will go to the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation for its camps both in Canada and the U.S.
General Manager of the Whiteshell, Manitoba camp, Justin Dubreuil says their camps are free to eligible youth.
Dubreuil notes the seven participating camps will welcome 20,000 youth this year and notes they allow “kids to be kids” without having to worry about additional expenses to attend camp.
He stresses this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Last year, Camp Day helped raised over $13-million.
This year, two Dryden area youth will be able to attend camp thanks to your support.
