Toll Booth Appears to be Going Up

There appears no change in plans by Couchiching First Nation and its plans to erect a toll booth on Highway 11 this afternoon.
The band says it will start charging passenger vehicles at noon $1 to enter and leave the community.
Transport drivers will be instructed to pay $10.
Chief Chuck McPherson doesn’t think they’re being unreasonable in asking for a toll.
McPherson says he’s instructed members manning the toll to be non-confrontational.
