Toll Booth on Highway 11

Couchiching First Nation is planning to set up a toll both on Highway 11 at the bridge that crosses Rainy Lake.
Band officials say its over the lack of response to a number of issues they’ve been trying to resolve with both levels of Government.
It includes compensation for land used to build the Highway and the contamination of soil at a former sawmill.
The toll is scheduled for May 21st.
