Tolouse on Budget #2

The Provincial budget calls for a seperate ministry for

Aboriginal affairs, and a larger sum of money for the

portfolio.

The McGuinty Government allotted the aboriginal ministry

55.6 million dollars for 2008.

Ontario Regional Chief Angus Tolouse says Tuesday’s

announcement is a good start, but more needs to be done.

Q:”…claims.” 23 seconds

Tolouse wants to see the money used towards improving

the life of first nation residents, and not for creating a

large bureaucracy.
