A tie for 5th for the Dryden Eagle Senior Girls Volleyball team at the All-Ontario Girls Volleyball Championships.
The Hometown Eagles fell to a speedy ESC Franco-Cite squad out of Ottawa Wednesday afternoon in straight sets 25-19, 25-13.
The Ottawa team will advance to the Semi-Finals against Lo Ellen Park out of Sudbury.
The other Semi-Final features Penetanguishene and General Amherst.
Penetanguishene upset the top-ranked Widdifield Wildcats in 3 sets.
General Amherst upended F.E. Madill in straight sets.
