TORNADO WARNING UPDATED FOR DRYDEN AREA

UPDATED At 9:20 p.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

Very dangerous thunderstorms in the Lower Manitou Lake and Gold Rock areas are moving northeast at 60 km/h.

Hazard: Tornadoes and tennis ball sized hail.

Locations impacted include:
Gold Rock, Lower Manitou Lake and surrounding areas.

Additional thunderstorms are located north of this thunderstorm moving northeast at 60 km/h.

Hazard: Nickel sized hail.

Locations impacted include:
Dryden, Aaron Provincial Park, Wabigoon, Dinorwic and Dyment.

This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation.
