It wasn’t the weekend the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Red Lake Miners had in mind.
Both teams failed to pick up wins on the road.
Dryden GM fell to Thief River Falls 5-3 on Friday and 4-2 on Saturday.
The Ice Dogs have now lost five in a row.
The Miners lost their first two games of the campaign, both to Thunder Bay. (8-3 and 4-2)
Wisconsin won its first two games in franchise history.
The Lumberjacks defeated Fort Frances 6-5 in overtime on Friday and 1-0 in regulation on Saturday.
