Tough Year for Farmers

One Regional farmer says this is the worst year for agriculture she
has seen since 1987.
Kim Jo Bliss says fields have been saturated with water making farming
virtually impossible.
Bliss notes conditions have been so wet that some farmers have had
their equipment getting stuck in fields.
She adds the wet weather has resulted in an increase in insects which
means cattle are not staying in the pastures very long.
The cattle rancher notes more heat and wind is needed to salvage what is left of the season.
