Tourism association bracing for passports 2

Although passports were the major topic of discussion at the annual Northwestern Ontario Tourism Association meeting held here Friday, there was another topic that was equally important.

NWOTA vice-president Jerry Fisher says they are working hard in the Sunset country region, banding together to make their voice heard.

Fisher adds they discussed the passport issue at length, and said they are already losing a percentage of business with border crossing issues that will be magnified when passports become necessary.
