Tourism Matters Campaign Winding Down

Tourism is largely under appreciated in northwestern Ontario.
That statement from the Ontario Sunset Country Travel Association, who is trying to change that perception with its ‘Tourism Matters’ campaign.
Executive Director Gerry Cariou says tourism as an industry is one of the largest and most important economic generators in the region.
The campaign is partnered with the Kenora District Camp Owners Association.
It includes print ads in 8 regional newspapers as well as radio ads that air across the region.
