The Dryden Development Corporation has adopted a Tourism Development Strategy.
Chair of the Tourism Advisory Committee Stephanie Armstrong says the report contains 26-specific recommendations to attract visitors to the community.
Armstrong says the strategy calls for the recruitment of an Events Coordinator and establishing guided adventure trips and tours.
The report also outlines the need to develop summer and winter getaway packages, the development of culinary tourism as well as establishing a zip-line or rope course.
Another recommendation is creating a new website for potential visitors at www.experiencedryden.ca.
The strategy is a template for the group and the City and priority’s will be established.
