OPP in Dryden are investigating the fraud of a local tourist outfitter.
Police say the resort owner lost over $5,000 when a
potential client booked a reservation over e-mail.
The client requested extra charges to a valid credit card for flights and
logistical costs and then asked the outfitter to subtract the costs of the
accomodation and transfer the remaining cash to a bogus travel agency.
