A Dryden tow truck company is in support of a new provincial law.
The new law will require vehicles to slow down and move over when approaching a stopped tow truck.
Owner Kevin LaPointe of TJ’s Auto Value say’s he’s had a number of close calls of people almost hitting him on the side of the highway.
LaPointe says people need to slow down, pull over and give tow truck drivers room to work.
He says there’s an absolute need for the law and there’s a need for officers to enforce it.
The fine for disobeying the new law is $300 and 2 demerit points.
