Town of Ignace provides Funding For Health Center

The Mary Berglund Community Health Center Hub is getting a $30,000 grant from the Town of Ignace.

The Health Center also operates the community food bank and the funding will help with their renovation project.

The Food Bank is co-located with the Carousel thrift store.

The grant will help with building upgrades to the Beaver Street location.

To date, there has been a new roof, window, paint, and other smaller cosmetic upgrades.

The money comes from Ignace’s Community Well Being Fund.
