Track Construction Now Underway

Work is now underway to resurface the Harry McMaster Track at Dryden High School.
Crews moved the storage garage to the Duke Street side of the track this morning.
Eagles on Track Spokesperson Mike Wood says surveying has also been completed.
Wood notes the imprint of the track has been painted on the ground, they have moved the bleachers and railings have been removed.
He stresses there’s going to be plenty of activity in the area the next couple of weeks.
Wood says the next step will be tearing out the gravel and draining the area.
Wood adds he’s hoping to complete ashpalting this Summer and rubber surfacing next Spring.
He says they still have to raise roughly $100,000 for the project.
