It was a very busy Wednesday for Dryden OPP and the Regional Traffic
Manager.
Officers set up at the intersection of Highway 17 and 622, just West
of Ignace to conduct the 1-day commercial vehicle truck inspection
initiative.
45 transports were checked and 32 charges were laid.
Violations included speeding, outdated logbooks, load security,
overwidth and even no drivers licenses.
Police say 8 vehicles were placed out of service.
