Traffic Flowing Smoothly on Highway 17

Good news for the August long weekend as Highway 17, west of Kenora
is finally open to 2-lanes of traffic.
The Ministry of Transportation is working on rehabilitating a stretch
of the road near the Pinewood Restaurant.
Spokesperson Dave McColl says traffic is moving smoothly through the
area.
Final upgrades on the west section of Highway 17 will begin the week
of August 7th and is expected to take several weeks to complete.
