The only highway connecting Ear Falls and Red Lake was closed most of the afternoon, but re-opened to single lane traffic at about 6:20 according to motorists on the scene.
Highway 105 was closed at the junction with Hwy 125 to Balmertown after a serious collision.
The Ear Falls Legion opened its club room so stranded motorists could have a coffee and watch TV while they wait.
