The Kenora OPP say a 17-year-old Winnipeg boy is dead following a fatal collision on Highway 17 west of Clearwater Bay.
The accident took place around 1:45 between a semi-tractor trailer unit and a passenger vehicle.
The youth was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Trans-Canada was closed for about 7 hours while the OPP’s Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team conducted their investigation.
