Traffic Stop In Fort Frances Area Leads To Several Charges

Four people face multiple firearm and drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop by Provincial Police in Fort Frances.

Officers pulled over a vehicle on Friday and learned that the driver was wanted on a warrant in Winnipeg.

Police say all of the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, a quantity of Methamphetamine and cash.

OPP say 25-year-old Travis Thayer and 34-year-old Samantha Calder of Winnipeg, as well as 35-year-old Margaret Woods and 28-year-old Brenna Adams of Fort Frances all remain in custody.
