The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is reporting a key road to some traffic.
The Ministry of Transportation has re-opened the Ed Ariano by-pass, otherwise known as the Highway 72 by-pass to commercial vehicles for the moment.
With heavy vehicle traffic able to go around, Public Works has been able to re-open Wellington Street to traffic.
The removal of the Wellington Street detour remains contingent on the MTO keeping the by-pass open.
Officials note if they should determine it needs to be closed again, the Wellington Street detours will be put back in place.
Residents are encouraged to drive with care in these areas and watch for changing road conditions.
