Poor and icy road conditions resulted in several crashes Sunday in northwestern Ontario.
One person died in a single vehicle crash on Highway 17 near Shabaqua.
Provincial Police say a 53-year old man died when his pick-up truck rolled over, one kilometre west of Finmark Road.
No name has been released.
A 43-year-old man is in critical condition in Thunder Bay Hospital following a head-on collision on Highway 61, north of Mountain Road.
Highway 17 near Marathon was also closed for about an hour and traffic was slow moving on the TransCanada in our area.
Iron Range Bus Lines continues to not use Highway 502 due to the state of the road.
