The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs says its pleased the provincial government is starting to pay attention to the snowmobile industry again.
The government recently released the Ontario Trails Strategy.
Ron Purchase is general manager of the O.F.S.C. and says while the report is short on solutions, it does recognize there are serious problems facing the snowmobile industry.

Purchase says the report also recommends greater co-operation between organizations to develop new trails and
also looks at other issues such as the long term sustainability of the trail system and protecting volunteers.
