Train Derailment Copy

CN Rail Crews worked through the night to clean up the

site of a train derailment 50 miles east of the Manitoba border near the community of Redditt.

Company Spokesperson Frank Binder says no CN staff or

local residents were hurt.

29 rail cars left the track, most remained upright, but some did tip completely over.

Binder adds CN Rail is working closely with the

Transportation Safety Board to discover the cause of the

derailment.

The track is expected to be open by this afternoon.
