The Trans-Canada Highway between Kenora and Vermillion Bay has been closed all night due to a fatal motor vehicle accident.
The O.P.P. say a semi-tractor trailor unit collided with an S.U.V. around 12:30 this morning about 50 kilometers east of Kenora near East Hawk Lake.
Highway 17 has been closed ever since, and there’s been no word as to when the road will be open again.
Police are hoping to have at least one lane clear shortly.
No other details about the accident have been released.
