Transport drivers will no longer be able to use the Extra Foods property as a parking lot.
Dryden Council is poised to accept a resolution next Monday to ban commercial vehicles from parking at the Highway 17 property.
The request was made by Extra Foods and Dryden Police will be in charge of enforcement.
The City is also expected to ban parking on the west side of Kirkpatrick Avenue between Arthur Street and Albert Street.
The restriction would be in place from September to June, Monday to Friday, from 8-am to 4:30.
Heavy congestion in the area is behind the move.
A stop sign will also be installed on St. Charles Drive at the intersection of Elvis Avenue.
