Transport Driver Faces Impaired Charges

It took some effort but Police finally managed to pin down a careless transport driver.
OPP received a complaint of a westbound tractor-trailer on Highway 17 just outside Ignace driving in an erratic manner and a second advising Police that a transport almost caused a head-on collision.
After catching up to the vehicle, Police say the transport initially failed to stop for officers.
A 61-year-old Longbow Lake man has been charged with impaired and driving over 80 milligrams.
