A transport driver has been charged after telephone lines crossing over Highway 17, near Glengoland Road were ripped down.
Dryden OPP located the accused and charged 53-year-old Randy Stewart of Powassan with an oversized vehicle.
Bell Canada was called and repaired the downed lines.
OPP have also charged a 53-year-old transport driver after receiving a traffic complaint on the TransCanada, just west of Vermilion Bay.
Harpal Singh of Brampton faces 1-count of careless driving.
