Ontario Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca says they are looking at potential opportunities to enhance various travel routes in northwestern Ontario.
Del Duca is responding to questions about what is being done to prevent a major incident like the failure of the Nipigon River Bridge.
He says he’s heard area concerns and they are open to solutions to ensure the flow of traffic isn’t impacted by lengthy closures.
The Nipigon River Bridge isn’t expected to fully re-open until the end of February.
