Trapping Marten Leads to Charges

A 68-year-old Red Lake man has been fined $300 for trapping
marten after the season had closed.
Court heard that the man was asked to remove his trap on March 5th, five
days after the season ended.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the man was also selling his
furs for an exceptionally high price.
