The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has restricted access to some parts of Woodland Caribou Provincial Park west of Red Lake.
The move is the result of several large fires in the park.
Back country travellers won’t be able to access selected trails.
Ontario Parks is also restricting access to some canoe routes as well as a number of lakes.
Meantime, some 80 children, elders and those with breathing problems remain housed in Rat Portage First Nation after being forced from their homes in Whitedog.
Heavy smoke from a 91-hundred hectare fire about 26-kilometres north of Wabaseemoong continues to blanked the community.
