Treasury Metals says its Goliath Gold project near Wabigoon is developing into a multi-million ounce gold resource.
The company says two recent drilling campaigns have generated very positive results and that high gold grades have been identified over a strike length that exceeds 1,200 metres, with a vertical depth of at least 600-metres.
Officials say that warrants a much larger drilling program in 2012.
The encouraging news may be a moot point as Wabigoon Lake First Nation has ordered a halt of exploration due to a lack of consultation.
