Plans have been unveiled by Grand Council Treaty #3 for a memorial to remember the victims of the residential school system.
The monument would be built near the Treaty Three headquarters in Kenora, which was the site of a former residential school.
Arnold Gardner is the Grand Chief of Treaty 3 and says they want to get feedback on the proposal before proceeding.
